Then...Now...Later?

Speech by Thomas Friedman of The New York Times....

"When we were young kids growing up in America, we were told to eat our vegetables at dinner and not to leave them. Mothers said, 'think of the starving children in India and finish the dinner.' And now I tell my children: 'Finish your maths homework. Think of the children in India who would make you starve, if you don't.'"

This my shit. Posted by Hello

if only...

the urge to get away has besieged me...in its myriad costumes, its lure seems almost irresistible and addictive....even if the implications are so unknown, the glimpses are magical and binding...the pull is so frenzied - its almost rhapsodical.......something that could sweep you off your feet, and you just succumb to its promises...

sounds like such a beautiful dream, only if it was so smooth.....only if we could have the power to make it happen....now and every time we wanted it...to be detached, to escape, to be free...only if we had the power to create our days as we wanted...sounds like a rebellious and anarchistic thought....but somehow, somewhere inside me, there is a voice which never wavers, a voice which whispers to me that it is indeed possible...physics might not appeal so much to the romaticist, but then I've stumbled upon theories which suggest a reason for the contrary...maybe venture more into quantum physics, explore avenues of multiple universes...quite an interesting thing to live for huh?....hmmm....
