what it really means...

"Everything that happens happens for good"

no, i am not going to object to the Gita. or watever. but then cant help think. abt all the implications of wat he said. abt wat this makes us think.
is it about destiny? a ruling that everything has been taken care of, and tho u dont understand crap now, its all for your good? or atleast believe that way and enjoy the beer?
or is it just abt doing ur thing and never worrying abt the consequences? like work your ass off for the full year and get appraised by a moron? or a moronic system, whatever be the case? do not expect anything to fall in place. however shitty it is, its for good.
maybe he was just trying to console us, yes? the omniscient trying to say smthg like 'dude, shit happens' in a very mild way? interesting thought huh?

I don't know if it's about destiny or what, but I I do believe in it. Probably it's just an attitude thing. A lot in life depends on perspective and attitude. It's upto us how we react to a bad situation, facing rough times with courage and a feeling that it's 'only a phase' and that 'its happening for the good' are all easier said than done. But honestly, if one can live by this saying, he/she's definitely an optimist.

Well I don't know if everything that happens, is for good or not..
but then, what is destined to happen will happen.. you nor me cannot stop it..
we can only continue from where it has happened..
if something good goes wrong, start right from whatever is left..

u know i read this somewhere, and i found it pretty comforting:
"If you look at the back of a tapestry, you'll find a lot of chaos and it won't look pretty at all. but if you look at entire picture, in front, you'll see why it was had to be so messy behind the tapestry" it was said in a much better way, but u get the idea right? also check out this post: http://waiterrant.net/?p=211

i too never used to understand this thing-"do ur duty, don't expect the fruit"... but my mom keeps tellin it often. so i keep doing my duty (n i surely expect results, though i never let know ppl wat i'm expectin) n trust me... wat i expect does happen. yea... its jus the height of optimism...things r gonna happen for ur gud n if at all somethin deplorable happens, u can atleast console urself by tellin dis.
